Hi, and welcome to a new section to fluxbox… in this (hopefully regular) new section to fluxbox, i will be deliverying my latest ‘Unsubstantiated Rumor’.

I feel it is important to give the definition of this, so here goes;

“unsubstantiated adjective unsubstantiated rumors unconfirmed, unsupported, uncorroborated, unverified, unattested, unproven; unfounded, groundless, baseless, without foundation, unjustified.”

Right, now thats out of the way, id like to clarify and say that everything ever written in this section is a result of my deluded mind and will probably never ever have any basis in fact… ever ! for example, last night i had a dream where monkeys stole my laptop and sold it to midget people from mars… quite possibly not true, but in this section of fluxbox, this will be treated as fact and respected as such !!!!

This week, id like to start the Unsubstantiated Rumor that Apple will soon be releasing a new version of iTunes, this is as a result of some missing features from the current version, such as lack of cover art transmission across network to shared librarys (i mean, common, there not much extra bandwidth to a 100kb Jpeg is there lol)… my proof for this, i invite you to open the new version of frontrow in Leopard (sorry to say i uninstalled it, nothing there for me atm) and connect to a shared library…. what happens when you look at the shared library music collection, yup u got it a placeholder appears with the standard Apple music icon… is is my belief that this will soon be replaced with an actual image, thanks to (yep, my Unsubstantiated Rumor) a new version of iTunes, capable of sending this content !
