Tired of all that GSM buzz coming from your cellphone when all you wan to do is listen to music? The guys at MacLife have re-uncovered a simple fix that involves parts that you probably have laying around in your spaghetti drawer. Just grab some ferrite beads — the same ones that often ship with TVs and USB cables — and attach them to your speaker cables near the speakers. This is probably not a shock to those of you who already know a thing or two about magnetic interference, but for the rest of you, get scouting and grab some tape.

Have you ever wanted to lock down a few files behind passwords, but don’t want to jump into a full-featured encryption system with multiple keys, virtual drives and whatnot? Free encryption utility EncryptOnClick is a dead-simple utility that gets the job done. Open the program, choose a file or folder to secure, and type in your password. The files or folder will get an encrypted icon, and you’ll be asked for the password to open them—and that’s it, at least with the freeware version. The app uses 256-bit AES encryption, so for hiding stuff from the average snooper, it’s a tight and light solution. EncryptOnClick is a free download for Windows systems only.
Check it out over at 2BrightSparks, the same guys who brought us SyncBackSE (one of the best backup programs im aware of) !
Okay, iv seen two girls one cup (strangly didnt affect me that badly), iv seen the vid of the girl being thrown through a basketball hoop, iv seen a kid trying to scare his mate by jumping out of a bin, only to get smaked in the face and knocked out…. But all of these things didnt quite prepare me for finding an online application which ’supposedly’ tracks your sex live and gives you insights into your bedtime activities.
Bedpost, a web 2.0 application that remains in alpha, aims to give you insights about your sex life. By entering in partners, time durations and tags to describe your “doing the horizontal” data, the app appears to build a calendar of stats and averages. Other multimedia functionality includes uploading photos of partners, in case you’d like to brag to yourself about your previous conquests. The creator states:
“I built it for myself about 4 years ago, and this is the culmination of years and years of thinking about how to make it available to the world. … Before long, you’ll have a rolling history of your sex life on which to reflect.“
im not 100% about this kid, anyone who goes to the extreme of creating an online based web app to track his sexual activity has gotta be a little strange (i mean dont get me wrong, the little black book some guys have is appealing, but this is just odd). But lets put that to one side for a second and just assume this kid was an enthusiastic programmer who thought ‘what the hell, i want my perverted nature to be digitalised’ i can somwhat understand the development of a private application which allows you to track your own sexual activity, but then to migrate it into a public server… Im not sure if its pure genious or the most disgusting thing iv heard of.
Either way, i look forward to hearing that the backend database of this site has been cracked, thats gonna be an interesting day for many-a-beta tester lol !
