Bluephone Elite 2 has been a realisation for several months now and has been a fantastic application for the seamless incorporation of mobile phone technology with a Mac OS computer. Well things are about to get even better, in the next few days version 2.0.9 will officially be released, patching several small bugs and adding several new features, including the ability to now export and import messages, call logs and personal data from (a feature which has been missing for some time !).

Several other features including a quick SMS widget for dashboard, closer integration with the phone address book and enhanced talk through features have also been rumoured, and finally a feature which has long been sought after - group text messaging !

The update is also rumoured to be coming with support for several new phones which previously have been incompatible with this invaluable piece of software, and a substantial hint that the company is working on a support mechanism for the iPhone, which unfortunately at current is hardly supported within the elite’s abilities.
