Well, despite all the news we heard about Microsoft pulling the plug on our good and dear friend XP, it seems their plans have changed once again… Not really a surprise since, well lets face it, their best OS on the market at the moment is XP…

Its also not too surprising that this news revelation from MS is coupled with the announcement that Windows 7 will now not be being released until 2010, so XP will be living till around the same time…

Though i kinda find it hard to believe that;
A) Vista will be a working Operating System by 2010 (working enough to be classed as a viable replacement for XP)
B) Microsoft will be willing even in 2010 to drop XP, because lets face it, its prob still gonna be their best OS
C) More than likely Windows 7 will be delayed at least twice more after this announcement, so we shouldn’t really expect it till late 2011 !

Its not that i don’t have faith in Microsoft (sorry, had to stop in the middle of that statement to laugh), but they seriously don’t have the best track record for keeping their deadlines, and even when they do, their communication with the rest of the industry is so poor they might as well be using strings and cups !
