Just when u thought Apple had made spaces all that more perfect, i just came across this little video and now im thinking its time for apple to go back to the drawing board !
Virtual spaces, its an interesting idea but im not too sure about the whole ‘portable projector’ approach, i see the advantage to being able to move it anywhere and re-define new virtual spaces, but when iv got an entire wall full of content, i wanna see the whole thing… hence im gonna be needing a shit load of space, taking into account the need for rear projection (dont really want my shadow all over the stuff).
But i defiantly like the idea, interaction like this isnt 100% unique though, several months back i saw a toy being produced that was a virtual interactive surface for children, an interactive paint pot which projected a workspace onto a wall, allowed the child to draw all over the wall and even add animation to their creation. So the addition of more ‘professional’ content to this isnt such a far fetch of the imagination, im just looking forward to seeing someone patent it, develop it, slap a name on it and ship it (prob for more than im ever gonna afford, but ill still play with the demo unit in PC world lol)
